Mudar
Mudar (To move) is an experiment in mediation aimed at collectively contemplating cultural symbols, identity, and belonging. It delves into the stories of many individuals who translate the social and cultural reality around us, sometimes in contexts of vulnerability and social exclusion.
Building upon the exhibition Vinyetes Migrants at the CCCC, we reflect—through a performative workshop that combines performing arts and anthropology—, on Van Gennep's rite of passage, which consists of three stages: the separation phase "farewell," the liminal phase "the journey," and the aggregation phase "the reception."
For this art mediation, the attending audience was encouraged to bring a piece of fabric that resonated with their identity and/or reminded them of a familiar landscape. With these pieces, we created a collective artwork.

Mudar es una experimentación en mediación para pensar juntas sobre símbolos culturales, identidad y pertenencia. Sobre la historia de muchas personas traduciendo social y culturalmente la realidad que nos rodea, a veces en contextos de vulnerabilidad y exclusión social.
Partiendo de la exposición Vinyetes Migrants del CCCC, reflexionamos —a través de un taller performativo que articula artes escénicas y antropología— sobre el ritual de paso de Van Gennep, que comprende tres etapas: fase de la separación «la despedida», fase liminar «el viaje» y fase de agregación «la recepción».
Para esta mediación se propuso al público asistente traer un retazo de tela con la que se identificara y/o le recordara ese paisaje familiar. Con ella producimos una pieza colectiva.
