Piel de Gallina

For the graphic design of Regina José Galindo’s exhibition “Piel de Gallina,” we drew inspiration from the fundamental concept of the exhibition, which focuses on violence and the value of life.

Taking these concepts, we designed various graphic pieces. A cheap cardboard container, emphasizing the concept of a disposable object, much like human life in Guatemala. This cardboard box contained the artist’s poems, printed on butcher paper. Each poem was suspended using a meat hook, creating a visual connection between the exhibition and the idea of torture and human vulnerability.

Inside the box, we also included the artist’s book. The cover featured a close-up photo of goosebumps on the skin and handwritten text by Jaume’s mother.
